第一次聽到這首歌的時候我只有9歲。

我不知道歌詞在說些什麼，只知道影片中的那個大人，看來相當痛苦。

就這樣，我沒有再看那段MV，或聽這首歌第二遍。

直到，那影片的男主角，也就是主唱Chester離去的那一天，

我再次地看了這個MV，聽了這首歌。

回想起來，當時英文老師似乎有告訴過我們這首歌的故事，

回想起來，那個單字”Numb”始終在我腦海中。

才知道，我在最充滿希望的時候，不小心認識了大人的世界，

不小心，我長大了，看得懂了，淚乾了。
