這首歌是我認識Imagine Dragons 的第一首歌曲。
正因為如此，它才更加顯得特別，
對於翻譯者而言，他們的歌曲非常具有挑戰性，
因為除了字彙艱深，所表達的隱喻也是滿載一整首歌，
聽Imagine Dragons的歌不容易使你快樂，
因為他們所闡述的多半是現實和理想。
所以有好一陣子我是不聽他們歌曲的，
但是聽他們的歌曲，
你可以很認真的反思，反思你所過的究竟是怎麼樣的生活？
你可以大膽的假設，假設你要的人生，
你可以建構，建構屬於你的哲學。
他們的歌曲給我的感受便是如此，
也因為這樣，我翻完他們的歌曲總有種被背叛的感覺，
而聽眾們卻喜歡咬文嚼字的他們所唱的道理。

我不太喜歡在歌詞裡加諸過多詞彙，因為我覺得那會改變歌詞本體，所以挑字眼的時候我都已字面為主，
其實言外之意是每個你都可以去想像的，
不需要我過度的修飾與選字，
每個人聽一首歌曲的感受不盡相同，
我只期盼當你聽完這首歌，能接受那個比較黑暗的自己，
因為既然有天使，那惡魔當然也在其中。
