I remember there were two Bruce Springsteen's songs we used to play in my mom's car.Here's The River,and the other was Fire.It is always a great way to sort your thoughts through Bruce Springstee's songs.They tell different people's life stories while you can compartmentalize them into certain types.With the knowledge of everyone is different,we also realize that we share something similar with others.Tags label us as particular groups.Once you've got nine out of ten similar tags,you almost share the same destiny.Which reminds me of a quote from film Coach Carter,he said:

"Well let me tell you what I see, I see a system, that is designed for you to fail, now I know that all of you like stats so let me give you some, Richmond high only graduates 50% of it's students, and of those that do graduate only 6% go to college, Which tells me when I walk down these halls and look in your class rooms, maybe only one student is going to go to college, Well damn Coach Carter if I ain't going to college where am I going to go? In my understanding,"the river" in the song refers to a calm surrender,namely,a place where the two protagonists can dream about a wonderful future instead of being forced into the lives most people took in their village.
